Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse the current specification and assess the level of requirements at all levels – for the vehicle’s powertrain, body, chassis, ADAS, infotainment, and telematics systems.
• Participate in the customer’s demand elicitation process.
• Examine the criteria for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility with other interface features and functions. You should also look over any problems with function owners.
• Create specifications based on inputs such as functional goals for various vehicle systems, subsystems, and components, product specifications, reference materials, and regulations.
• Create the necessary requirements based on an analysis and comprehension of the design and implementation that are currently being used at the hardware, software, and system levels.
• Create specifications for a system, a subsystem, or a component for different categories, such as functional, performance, interface,
• Determine and uphold two-way traceability both inside the requirements and between the requirements and the design artefacts that meet them.
• Connect the other vehicle’s electronic systems through a single point.
• Mentor and instruct other systems engineers and requirement engineers in the art of formulating requirements
• Work together with the customer engineering team to review and approve requirements.
• While performing requirement engineering, hold meetings with customer stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and obtain approvals for needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree

Preferred Skills:

• Powertrain functionalities, such as the engine, gearbox, ePT, and EV, are part of system engineering.
• Understanding of the OEMs’ product development procedures.
• Basic knowledge of the rules and principles for requirement authoring.
• Understanding of standards, CAN link protocols, OBD diagnostics, and diagnostics.
• Understanding of DFMEA and DVPR employing technologies for requirement management like DOORS and DNG.
