Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data-driven reviews of credit and operational processes to identify gaps and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform validation and analytical assessments to identify, monitor, and manage risks associated with business products and processes.
- Support the monitoring of risk exposure against the bank’s risk appetite and escalate key concerns to governance forums when required.
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards using Python and SQL to enhance monitoring efficiency and improve transparency.
- Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of AEBC risk policies and frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Banking, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and drive project deliverables to achieve business objectives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently on complex and unstructured initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Understanding of risk management concepts, including credit risk, model risk, or operational risk; relevant certifications will be considered an added advantage.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and operational risk management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and automation activities.
