Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining interesting ways to use interactive dashboard technologies to deliver tailored risk insights.
- In order to gain insight while ensuring that metrics continue to operate in accordance with intended, this entails designing and using tools and signals to aid in understanding risk and capital measures at various levels of aggregation across the Firm.
- Understanding financial and non-financial risk through the evaluation, justification, and explanation of aspects found in the firm’s risk data by examining pricing, risk, and capital model outputs.
- Automation engineering to boost the firm’s metric timeliness and availability, improve control, and reduce operational risks and costs raising consciousness of serious risks
- Putting new/updated workflows and documentation through testing and development
- Provide impartial advising on the risk and capital metric procedure for the firm’s new or ongoing business activities.
- Coordinating with organisations like modelers/strats, technologists, traders, and investors
Eligibility Criteria:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a quantitative field like engineering, physics, math, or econometrics.
Preferred skills:
- Entrepreneurial, artistic, self-driven, and focused on the needs of the team.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Practical understanding of mathematical concepts and numerical techniques, including time series analysis and statistics.
- Practical experience with technologies and tools for analytics, including Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Knowledge of or a strong desire to learn programming skills in a variety of languages, such as Python, HTML, Javascript, and/or C++.
- Knowledge of or a strong desire to learn risk analytics, interpretation, and productivity tools for gaining insights into risk and capital measure data.
- Having knowledge of or a strong desire to learn about financial markets and economics.
