Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & ETL:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust SQL-based data pipelines to support efficient ETL workflows.
- Utilize advanced SQL, including Google SQL and BigQuery-style SQL, for data extraction, transformation, aggregation, and processing.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PLX scripts for backend data processing and automation.
Data Analysis & Analytics Enablement:
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business and operational objectives.
- Translate analytical requirements into optimized datasets and scalable data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions.
Dashboarding & Visualization:
- Build, maintain, and optimize PLX dashboards and analytical views to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio to support data analysis, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with defined metrics, business requirements, and data logic.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A graduate degree in any discipline is required, with a preference for candidates with a background in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Required Skills:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in backend data engineering or analytics roles.
- Strong experience working with advanced SQL in large-scale data environments.
- Proven experience in ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Experience working in structured, process-driven environments supporting enterprise clients.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, and query performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data transformation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with PLX scripts and PLX dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Google Workspace tools, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Knowledge of Google Apps Script for automation and workflow optimization.
- Experience using Looker Studio for dashboard development and analytics.
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or VBA.
