Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers experiencing issues with Cimulate and Salesforce Commerce Cloud integrations.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported issues related to ecommerce search, inference behavior, data pipelines, indexing, APIs, and platform configurations.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams on escalation triage, root-cause analysis, and customer-specific technical debugging.
- Analyze platform behavior using logs, SQL queries, YAML configurations, dashboards, and debugging tools.
- Support Kubernetes- and GitOps-based operational workflows, including configuration validation and deployment troubleshooting.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with Customer Success Managers, technical stakeholders, and enterprise customers throughout the support lifecycle.
- Document investigations through clear and structured root-cause analyses, presenting the conclusion first, followed by the root cause and supporting evidence.
- Identify recurring issues and provide insights that contribute to operational improvements, tooling enhancements, and knowledge base development.
- Develop strong expertise in ecommerce search concepts, including relevance, ranking, merchandising, catalog structure, and customer experience optimization.
- Collaborate effectively within a global, fast-paced support environment focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across support processes, incident management, and escalation workflows.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting SaaS platforms, e-commerce technologies, search platforms, or cloud-based applications.
- Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, e-commerce search solutions, or related e-commerce technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in customer-facing technical environments.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills for investigation and data analysis, including the ability to write joins, aggregations, and subqueries and analyze large or time-partitioned datasets. Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with structured configuration formats such as YAML and JSON.
- Basic scripting or debugging experience with Bash, Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
- Ability to follow a systematic and evidence-driven troubleshooting approach by forming hypotheses, validating them against data and logs, and identifying verified root causes rather than relying on initial assumptions.
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and GitOps/CI-CD workflows, including Kubernetes, containerized services, ArgoCD, Helm, and Git-based configuration management, is an advantage but not mandatory.
- General understanding of e-commerce architecture, APIs, web technologies, and search and recommendation systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively handle high-severity customer escalations in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting AI-powered search, personalization, or recommendation platforms.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems, APIs, or data pipelines.
- Experience working in environments that follow modern observability and incident-management practices.
- Familiarity with e-commerce search concepts, including indexing, ranking, relevance tuning, facets, and merchandising.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, APIs, and browser debugging tools.
- Proficiency in using AI assistants to improve technical investigation and problem-solving, such as generating SQL queries, summarizing logs, and creating reusable prompts and workflows, combined with the technical expertise to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and identify inaccurate or misleading results.
