Key Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support for the implementation, development, and direction of production teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Implement initiatives to improve product and process quality while supporting cultural change efforts.
- Monitor and improve productivity by ensuring timely, quality, and cost-effective fulfillment of customer commitments.
- Develop and implement training plans to enhance workforce capability.
- Support compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives aligned with plant objectives.
- Drive the implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
Quality-Specific Goals:
- Maintain awareness of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, and Quality Goals, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
- Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within designated deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to Quality System Regulation (QSR) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory and other legal requirements applicable to the role.
- Possess a thorough understanding of production process work instructions and operate within them to ensure product specifications are met.
- Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely creation of records and Device History Records (DHRs).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
- Proven experience in leading, developing, and managing teams effectively.
- Skilled in identifying and implementing best practices to optimize processes and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently in environments with high levels of ambiguity.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and clear articulation of ideas.
