Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Platform Specialists to understand detailed business and user requirements and identify program objectives.
- Assist in preparing technical requirements documents, including system diagrams and flowcharts that illustrate the flow of information across systems and related components.
- Analyze business requirements and support the development of solutions that effectively address defined business needs.
- Assist in translating detailed business requirements into comprehensive system design documents focused on delivering the required functionality.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications based on system designs to guide developers and IT programmers during implementation.
- Ensure that development activities and procedures are properly documented, including application usage, maintenance, and security processes.
- Analyze program errors related to application logic and data, recommend appropriate corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with relevant technical and support teams to assist with application installation, configuration, and deployment.
- Support implementation planning and assist with deploying solutions into production environments.
- Support production code sets and implemented solutions in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.
- Prepare and distribute task descriptions and operational procedures required to maintain and support solutions in production environments.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business and project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant DevOps certification is preferred.
- Relevant Agile certification is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, are preferred.
- Relevant certifications in scripting and programming languages, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby, are preferred.
Required Skills:
- Possess entry-level knowledge of application design best practices across multiple technologies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of application environments, including hardware platforms, applications, databases, operating systems, and storage infrastructure.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with abstract concepts, along with sound problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Possess entry-level technical knowledge of software development and platform engineering practices.
- Demonstrate strong client-centricity with the ability to focus on business outcomes and customer requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and clients.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Possess a basic understanding of project management principles to support the successful execution of client projects.
- Contribute continuously to improving internal effectiveness by enhancing existing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Possess entry-level knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Possess entry-level knowledge and experience in deployment and release management across multiple environments.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of automation tools and source code repositories.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience in software development and application support.
- Entry-level experience in deploying software solutions for clients within outsourced or similar IT environments.
- Entry-level experience working in multi-team environments across multiple geographical locations.
- Entry-level programming or development experience, with exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
