Key Responsibilities for Assistant Manager – Power BI Developer:
- Perform data transformations and modeling using Power BI Query Editor.
- Create relationships between data sets and develop tabular and multidimensional data models.
- Utilize advanced calculations (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table, etc.) effectively.
- Deploy best practices in visualization based on industry knowledge.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in visualization, analytics, and BI applications, including data modeling, data preparation/profiling, and data integration.
- Experience in configuring Data Gateway for data refresh processes.
- Implement row-level security and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Utilize SQL querying techniques for optimal results, employing filters and graphs to enhance data understanding.
- Troubleshoot Power BI reporting solutions, investigating data issues, validating data, and ensuring balance.
- Document data processes, algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships comprehensively.
Key Responsibilities for SQL Server:
- Addressing and resolving support tickets.
- Demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, particularly SQL Server.
- Demonstrating ConceptOne understanding is beneficial; training will be provided if necessary.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with business users.
- Capability to engage with both business and technical teams.
- Quick adaptation to fast-changing business environments with a responsive learning approach.
- Proficiency in project management using Agile or waterfall methodologies (Optional).Ability to multitask effectively with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant years of experience in Power BI development.
- Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, encompassing data modeling, DAX expressions, and report/dashboard development.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in agile environments with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about learning.
- Team player with leadership and initiative-taking abilities.
