Key Responsibilities:
- To liaise with Business and relevant stakeholders including Global IT teams and Vendor partners to define and document detailed User Stories and Impact Assessment documents.
- Undertake investigations into the system and understand system integrity across a range of IT systems.
- Identify and manage requirements change, and its implications, across the lifecycle and manage traceability of requirements.
- Conduct functional and technical impact analysis in the event of changes to business objectives, requirements and/or technical architectures/platforms.
- Ensure technology deliveries are in line with business requirements. This requires a detailed understanding of the business areas involved in the project and the role holder must be able to translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa.
- Support the technology and business teams involved in a project through the full life cycle.
- This includes ensuring initial analysis is accurate, assisting development teams with queries. Support the business through the UAT phase by being responsible for answering questions about system functionality and ensuring business requirements are met by the system.
- Providing support to the Lead Business Analyst, helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and preferred methodology of the organization.
- Working independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in either BRDs or user/feature stories depending on the model in use by the development teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Good understanding of Retail Banking/Financial Services products.
- Experience and expertise as a Business Analyst.
- Experience and proficient expertise with Business Analysis tools as well as Agile software (JIRA, Confluence)
- Excellent with system analysis and problem solving.
- Previous experience of the software development lifecycle, the roles and responsibilities on large projects and the motivations of the actors involved.
- Should be proficient with written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- Past experience in Java development would be desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
- Experience in Interface analysis (API field mappings etc.), good to have basic understanding of API’s
