Accountabilities:

  • Investigate and analyze data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, and document data sources, methodologies, and findings with actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and develop data pipelines to automate data movement, transformation, and processing.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques on large datasets to identify trends and correlations, develop validated logical data models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations, including the use of machine learning and AI.
  • Convert data-driven insights into practical business recommendations, identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using appropriate tools, and automate reporting processes for both regular and ad-hoc stakeholder requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in data analysis or in a data-focused Technical Business Analyst role, working across complex, multi-geography technical and business stakeholder environments to define process flows and detailed technical requirements.
  • Perform technical analysis for data migration projects, including database and table-level assessments, data reconciliation, and SAS process migrations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as data dictionaries, metadata repositories, data lineage, mapping documents, API catalogs, and interface inventories supporting OLAP and OLTP systems.
  • Exhibit strong SQL querying skills to handle small to medium complexity data requirements efficiently.
  • Possess strong hands-on experience with SAS for ad-hoc analysis and business-as-usual (BAU) reporting, with a minimum of two years of practical experience.
  • Apply working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting, including data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and presentation of large datasets.
  • Demonstrate understanding and application of technology delivery frameworks and data management control frameworks.
  • Have working knowledge of big data and cloud technologies, including Apache Spark, Databricks, and AWS services.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports.

Preferred Skills:

  • Apply practical experience with Agile methodologies, including defining business outcomes, and creating portfolio epics and user stories.
  • Hold relevant certifications such as SAS Base or Advanced Programmer (preferred).
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in data streaming, ETL processes, data quality, reconciliation, processing, and data warehousing, preferably within AWS environments.
  • Possess experience in both batch and real-time data warehousing solutions.
  • Utilize advanced Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Apply PySpark for distributed data processing and large-scale analytics.
  • Hold AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering (preferred).
  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in Tableau or Power BI, including calculated fields, parameters, and dashboard optimization techniques.
  • Bring domain knowledge or exposure to banking and financial services, particularly in fraud detection.
  • Exhibit experience working in large, matrixed organizations and effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and navigate ambiguous or abstract problem statements.
  • Show flexibility to collaborate across global time zones, including the US, UK, and India, as required.
  • Exhibit a strong results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask effectively, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
