Key Responsibilities:
- Apply current product, industry, and market knowledge to support specialized financial reporting activities and analysis.
- Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and meaningful quarter-over-quarter variance reporting.
- Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and SEC reporting teams.
- Support the assessment and evaluation of reporting issues, findings, and outcomes to ensure accurate financial disclosures.
- Communicate financial information effectively to business stakeholders and proactively identify and escalate potential issues.
- Participate in the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual regulatory reports required by various regulatory agencies.
- Perform reconciliations and adhere to established proof and control procedures to ensure consistency between regulatory filings, SEC filings, and published financial reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, Call Reports, FR Y-9C, and Pillar III disclosures.
- Execute control procedures and validation checks to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of reported financial results.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of financial data to regulatory authorities.
- Interpret regulatory and SEC reporting requirements and assist in the implementation of internal and external reporting policies.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business units and regulatory agency stakeholders through ongoing collaboration and communication.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Finance function with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across diverse business units, functions, and geographic locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications used for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Project management skills with the ability to coordinate tasks and drive deliverables to completion.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or regulatory and SEC reporting environments.
- Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and regulatory reporting frameworks.
