Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality and stability of web applications.
- Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance and optimize automation frameworks to improve test coverage, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of QA standards, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by maintaining accurate and up-to-date test plans and documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and detailed test cases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possess 4–6 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in test automation using Cypress along with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Have experience in API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Show familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and cloud-based testing environments.
- Apply strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in testing and quality assurance activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Have experience with additional automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Demonstrate knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
- Show familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
- Possess experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bamboo.
- Exhibit knowledge of code quality and security analysis tools such as SonarQube and BlackDuck.
