Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and XP, along with CI practices, software and product security, scalability, documentation standards, refactoring, and testing techniques.
- Develop high-quality code that adheres to coding standards and delivers the required functionality using the technologies selected for the project.
- Understand key performance parameters and evaluate application performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Possess a strong understanding of core data structures and algorithms, with the ability to implement them using the programming language of choice.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), with basic hands-on experience.
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in object-oriented analysis and design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including development of microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, along with unit testing and API testing practices.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of build and deployment tools used in modern software development pipelines.
Business Acumen:
- Ability to break down complex problems and estimate development effort and timelines accurately.
- Good understanding of the technology landscape, with awareness of current and emerging technology trends, and the ability to contribute new ideas to the team.
