Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, providing coaching and ongoing performance feedback.
- Monitor and track individual team members’ performance over time to assess progress, learning, and capability.
- Resolve service issues escalated by internal or external customers in an effective and timely manner.
- Work independently and take initiative without requiring detailed instructions or close supervision.
- Make well-informed and effective decisions based on data, insights, and experience.
- Build and maintain an effective and efficient team through continuous communication, timely feedback, and sound supervisory practices.
- Organize workflows and allocate tasks appropriately to ensure smooth operations.
- Support all aspects of client onboarding, including fulfilling Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, coach, and motivate teams effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the capability to manage interim projects and processes based on evolving business needs.
- Solid knowledge of banking products.
- Proven track record in leading process improvements and driving organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, plan, prioritize, and execute viable solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to cope with change and work comfortably in situations of ambiguity.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, Fraud, Know Your Customer (KYC), or Operational Risk is an advantage.
- Proficiency in mainframe and PC-based systems, with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience managing a high-performing team.
