Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, rigorous analyses and insights to the Truecaller leadership team (C-suite) and business unit leaders to support data-driven decision-making and accurate regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate closely with data producers, data consumers, and product teams to ensure alignment and maximize the value of data.
- Investigate data deeply to uncover the underlying reasons and insights — finding the “why” behind the numbers.
- Coach and mentor junior data scientists, guiding them on how to excel in their roles and supporting their development.
- Offer hands-on assistance to junior team members when needed to help them overcome technical challenges.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong experience working with SQL.
- Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker (preferred), QlikSense, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience mentoring and coaching data analysts.
- Ability to explore and analyze various data sources to understand the drivers behind specific customer behaviors.
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with big data query tools (e.g., BigQuery).
- Experience collaborating directly with C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with analyzing data from mobile applications.
