Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize statistical and analytical methods to develop insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers at GE Aerospace to explore and implement methods for improving engine fleet performance.
- Develop and implement algorithms to process aerospace domain data for recommendation systems.
- Design experiments, conduct thorough evaluations, and document findings.
- Effectively communicate insights and results to relevant stakeholders.
- Address unique challenges in the aerospace domain, including data quality, domain-specific vocabulary, and integration into safety-critical and regulated workflows.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Master’s or Bachelor’s program in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering field.
- Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Statistics.
- Proficiency in implementing algorithms, data pipelines, and solutions using Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skill:
- Experience working with industrial domain data, such as Aviation, Energy, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
