Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining machine learning (ML) and basic Generative AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and inference.
- Support the development of simple Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) workflows under the guidance of senior team members.
- Perform text processing tasks such as data cleaning, parsing, chunking, and generating embeddings to support AI applications.
- Contribute to the development of back-end APIs, such as FastAPI, to expose machine learning and AI functionalities.
- Assist in integrating AI models into applications and support deployment and production activities.
- Develop clean, modular, maintainable, and testable Python code by following software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver AI-powered features and solutions.
- Debug, test, and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI technologies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 0–3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or a strong academic and project background in these domains.
- Proficiency in Python programming with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and model evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of APIs and back-end application development concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git version control and standard software development best practices.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing requirements, and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
