Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines for various development projects.
- Manage version control systems, such as Git, and coordinate code merges and deployments.
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Monitor and report on cloud and on-premises infrastructure using tools like Nagios, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to builds or deployments.
- Learn and adhere to best practices in system administration, security, and code deployment processes.
- Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to support continuous improvement of the deployment process.
- Manage virtual servers, databases, and other resources in cloud and on-premises environments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and fundamental principles of Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of system administration for Linux and Windows environments, as well as network protocols and services.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, or similar.
Preferred skills:
- Basic knowledge of automation tools, including Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, is advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn and work with diverse technologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to team efforts.
