Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and review operational activities within the process areas, including tipping, wet processing, and drying.
  • Study and analyze product formulations to assess processing feasibility and enhance existing and new formulations.
  • Collaborate with R&D on product development, including design, planning, and formulation stages.
  • Assess process feasibility, identify capability needs, and assist in preparing feasibility-level capital and operating cost estimates for process improvement projects.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on product formulations, process enhancements, and capacity improvements.
  • Foster positive human relations within the department and across the plant, encouraging employees to embrace Abbott’s core values.
  • Propose innovative ideas to improve efficiency, product recovery, and the overall quality of processing operations.
  • Ensure products meet safety compliance standards and adhere to Abbott’s quality protocols.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for any issues, striving for sustainable solutions.
  • Lead process benchmarking initiatives, implement best practices for lean processes, and enhance quality through internal audits, participation in Communities of Practice (COP), and Gemba walks.
  • Collaborate with the quality team on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality issues, providing support during quality audits.
  • Lead assigned improvement projects and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) completion.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology, with 0 to 3 years of experience or open to freshers.
  • Solid understanding of milk and food processing, including mixing, evaporation, spray drying, and CIP (Cleaning in Place) methodology.
  • Familiarity with production operations, material handling, and food safety management systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, including ISO, HACCP, quality assurance, risk assessment, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  • Proficient in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Proficient in process improvement, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
