Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the QA lead to comprehend the necessary test scenarios.
- Create test cases to validate application functionalities.
- Conduct exploratory tests for new features and bug fixes.
- Actively participate in the team, emphasizing quality, security, and best practices.
- Undertake Functional/Regression/Retesting/UI testing across various applications.
- Assist in troubleshooting bugs as they arise.
- Document and assess test outcomes, and communicate results to the Test Lead.
- Employ tools like MS Excel to produce metrics and formulate actionable suggestions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in QA testing.
- Proficiency in SDLC, STLC, DLC, and key testing phases.
- Familiarity with Testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools, preferably Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of agile frameworks.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment that often requires multitasking and flexible work schedules.
- Ability to integrate quickly with an existing team.
Preferred skills:
- Quality Assurance certifications such as ISTQB are advantageous.
- Experience in automation scripting using TOSCA.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to build professional relationships, demonstrate cooperation, and maintain a flexible approach to work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; exceptional analytical, research, and presentation abilities.
