Key Responsibilities for Analyst:

  • Content Focus: Business Analysts play a content-heavy role, requiring a strong demonstration of business knowledge, sound business sense, and staying updated on industry trends both in terms of business and technology.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Business Analysts navigate stakeholder complexity by gathering requirements and agreeing on designs with various business stakeholders. This involves managing different interests, resolving conflicts, and occasionally challenging suboptimal requirements and design decisions. Business Analysts often lead meetings or workshops independently, without direct Global Transformation supervision.
  • Multi-disciplinary Approach: Business Analysts must shape business requirements and solution designs that cover all facets of delivery, including customer aspects, people, processes, policies, and various technological elements such as systems, data, and infrastructure. They often handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities for CA Industrial Trainee:

  • Collaborate with senior members of the transaction banking team to attain quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial, and performance goals for the team.
  • Engage closely with internal stakeholders to assist in strategic business planning and various commercial activities for the business.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree

Preferred skills:

  • Proficient comprehension of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice methodologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the purpose, values, culture, and fundamentals of Global Transformation.
  • Exceptional understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes, and objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of the external environment, including regulatory, political, and competitive factors.
  • Fundamental knowledge of business reengineering.
  • Expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and design techniques.
  • Familiarity with change management and implementation management techniques and approaches.
  • Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant, and/or project manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of the overall financial services industry with specific functional expertise.
