Key Responsibilities:
- The ability to construct and maintain the infrastructure for data engineering pipelines on GCP, as well as to collaborate closely with teams working on software development and data engineering, are all prerequisites for ensuring the effective deployment and operation of data processing and analytics systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GCP services, including Big Query, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Data Studio, and their uses in data engineering and analytics.
- Create, install, and maintain on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) scalable and dependable infrastructure for data engineering and analytics workloads.
- Work with software developers and data engineers to create and implement effective data pipelines.
- Automate and streamline the installation and setup of data engineering and analytics software and services on the GCP.
- Work with the operations team to monitor, troubleshoot, and fix infrastructure and performance problems.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects to ensure timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
- Demonstrated DevOps engineering experience, ideally with an emphasis on GCP and data engineering tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
- A working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Solid familiarity with CI/CD procedures and software, such as Jenkins and Git.
- Knowledge with orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud settings and experience with various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of code review procedures and version control systems like Git.

- Google Cloud credentials, including those for “Data Engineer” and “Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
