Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on the development of machine learning models for detecting defects and classifying defect patterns using images obtained from equipment. The inference results will guide equipment in removing defective parts, while the classification outcomes will contribute to root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to create solutions based on machine learning methods. Enable real-time inferencing by integrating the inference pipeline with the factory system. The inferencing may be hosted either in the Data Center or at the Edge, in proximity to or directly on the equipment.
- Drive impactful contributions at Seagate by actively participating in the design, construction, tuning, and deployment of machine learning models. These models will play a key role in identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs and enhance product quality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrate a strong passion for data science and a desire to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to address real-world problems.
- Exhibit self-motivation, independence, and a collaborative team-oriented approach, coupled with robust analytical skills.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Familiar with AI and machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
