Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze & Discover: Explore structured and unstructured datasets through comprehensive exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data validation to identify meaningful patterns and generate insights that support business decisions.
- Build & Optimize: Develop, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems and deliver effective, data-driven solutions.
- Communicate & Influence: Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate & Deploy: Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to develop reliable data pipelines and deploy AI/ML solutions into production environments.
- Automate & Improve: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation across various business functions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Document & Share: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of methodologies, experiments, analytical approaches, and technical solutions, and share relevant knowledge with team members.
- Learn & Evolve: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and analytics, and apply relevant technologies and best practices to team initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related domain.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and fundamental machine learning concepts.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualification:
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, MLOps practices, and machine learning model deployment concepts.
Preferred Skills:
- Core Data Science: Demonstrate a strong foundation in statistics, probability, machine learning and deep learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
- Python & SQL: Demonstrate solid proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to perform data analysis, manipulation, querying, and problem-solving using both languages.
- Machine Learning Toolkit: Have hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and at least one deep learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Possess working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), such as GPT and LLaMA, along with prompt engineering and prompt optimization techniques.
- RAG & Embeddings: Understand Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, and Weaviate, and various embedding strategies.
- LLM Frameworks: Have exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks used for LLM application development and orchestration.
- Communication: Demonstrate the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Possess strong problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, a proactive approach, and a strong willingness to take ownership and drive results.
Preferred Skills:
- AI Agents & Autonomous Systems: Have experience building AI agents, chatbots, or agentic workflows that can operate with minimal human intervention.
- Multimodal AI: Have exposure to multimodal AI models and applications involving text, images, audio, or video, including vision-language models and speech-to-text technologies.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Have hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, and PEFT, as well as experience working with LLM APIs at scale.
- MLOps / LLMOps: Possess familiarity with model deployment pipelines, CI/CD for machine learning, experiment tracking tools such as MLflow and Weights & Biases, and API serving.
- Cloud & Containers: Have working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, including SageMaker, S3, and Lambda, along with Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Real-World Problem Solving: Have experience applying data science and machine learning techniques to real-world use cases such as forecasting, optimization, automation, and recommendation systems.
- Responsible AI: Demonstrate awareness of AI safety, bias mitigation, hallucination risks, responsible AI practices, and model governance.
- Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Have experience working effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and iterative delivery cycles.
- Documentation & Storytelling: Demonstrate the ability to maintain clear technical documentation and present analytical findings in a compelling manner that supports informed business decisions.
