Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently within the Data and Analytics function, requiring limited design guidance from managers or senior associates.
- Apply coding best practices and advanced techniques to ensure efficient, scalable, and repeatable execution of code on large datasets.
- Develop, execute, and optimize standard processes to consistently deliver metrics, reports, and insights to stakeholders with minimal manual intervention.
- Utilize strong knowledge of data structures to prepare data for ingestion and analysis, integrating data from multiple disparate sources to generate meaningful insights.
- Integrate Equifax, customer, and third-party data to address internal or client analytical problems of moderate complexity, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Review code outputs to identify anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with Data, Analytics, Product, and Technology teams to implement corrective actions.
- Communicate the impact and significance of analytical findings on business outcomes, and recommend appropriate actions based on insights.
- Demonstrate an understanding of both quantitative and qualitative data, and effectively translate analysis into value-driven insights for customers.
- Ensure proper and compliant use of Equifax data assets by collaborating closely with data governance and compliance teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a STEM field or an equivalent discipline.
- Possess 2–5 years of experience in a related analyst role.
- Preferably hold a cloud certification.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, R, Python, MS Excel or Google Sheets, Tableau, and Looker.
- Exhibit experience working collaboratively within a team to deliver descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Hold a cloud certification such as GCP or Google Data Analytics (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrate a self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative.
- Possess an AI-focused mindset with the ability to effectively incorporate AI into daily work.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, including experience in client-facing roles.
- Show the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work across Australia/New Zealand (A/NZ) time zones based on project requirements.
