Key Responsibilities:
Development:
- Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL databases, including schemas, stored procedures, and high-performance queries.
- Implement database solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Work within a DevOps model, managing end-to-end activities across development, testing, and UAT environments.
- Develop and implement automated data consistency checks to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and UAT teams to ensure smooth and high-quality deployment cycles.
- Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Develop interactive, enterprise-grade dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Build robust data models (star and snowflake schemas), apply DAX calculations, and transform data using Power Query.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver actionable business insights.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, streaming data platforms, SharePoint Online, Excel, Dataverse, and REST APIs.
- Design and implement end-to-end dataflows and lightweight automation solutions using Power Automate.
- Ensure adherence to database best practices, coding standards, and proper documentation.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and application integration needs.
- Work with Linux-based environments for deployment and operational activities.
- Apply knowledge of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering in data and analytics use cases.
- Support data preprocessing and feature engineering processes to prepare datasets for model development.
- Contribute to the implementation, deployment, and optimization of AI-powered features in production environments.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers within an Agile environment.
- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Utilize GitLab for version control, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Bring 3–8 years of professional experience working with SQL and Power BI.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in SQL and database development, including advanced query optimization, stored procedures, and database design.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle DB or other relational databases, including performance tuning and administration.
- Have experience implementing AI-powered features in production applications.
- Exhibit knowledge of AI/ML model deployment and optimization techniques.
- Apply strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Demonstrate proven knowledge of CI/CD practices, with hands-on experience using GitLab.
- Show the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
