Key Responsibilities:

  • Support credit analysis by providing data-driven insights, research, and analytical services.
  • Apply Moody’s methodologies and standards to financial data to derive adjusted metrics, ratios, and visualizations.
  • Perform data scrubbing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability for use in ratings and research.
  • Review financial reports and official statements to evaluate issuer performance.
  • Collaborate with analysts and accounting specialists to interpret accounting treatments and financial disclosures.
  • Assist rating teams by gathering, organizing, and preparing relevant data inputs.
  • Conduct calculations and apply analytical judgment to support evaluation outcomes.
  • Maintain databases and deliver routine outputs, including newsletters and ad-hoc analytical reports.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Possess 0–2 years of experience in credit or financial data analysis and interpretation, with exposure to structured finance considered an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of how data integrates into credit methodologies and rating processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and key financial metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and stakeholders to support timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Develop working knowledge of multiple simple projects or deliverables under supervision.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, along with strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of AI concepts, including Generative AI and Agentic AI systems, with a keen interest in leveraging these technologies to enhance research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
  • Show awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical usage, with a willingness to further develop knowledge in this area.
