Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and build engineering skills in areas such as cloud platforms, big data platforms, application development, and related technologies.
- Work under quality supervision and mentorship, with ongoing job performance evaluations.
- Gain the opportunity to apply skills while developing an understanding of the Cargill organization.
- Participate in learning opportunities about Cargill’s diverse businesses through events such as first-day orientation, experiential learning activities, and volunteer initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines such as AI, ML, Cybersecurity, or Computing, graduating in June 2026.
- Must provide approval from the respective institution to participate in a 5–6 month internship from early January 2026 through the end of June 2026.
- Geographically flexible and willing to work onsite multiple days a week at the Bengaluru Capability Center.
- Knowledge of basic structured programming, systems analysis and design, database design, and business concepts.
- Ability to work with a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness with limited guidance.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience as a software engineering intern.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience in commercial product software development.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to job-related tasks.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
