Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability analysis and penetration testing of web, thick client, and mobile applications used in critical infrastructure environments.
- Perform protocol fuzz testing on industrial communication protocols to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Recommend appropriate mitigation strategies and actions for identified vulnerabilities to the development team.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to validate security fixes and enhance overall security controls.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficient in using various security penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Kali Linux, and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools like App Scanner or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of security protocols including HTTPS, HSTS, TLS, and SSH.
- Demonstrates high learning agility with a strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Possesses strong analytical thinking and effective decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python, or Shell for exploit development and automation.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and the IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. in Computer Science completed in 2024 or expected to be completed by June 2025 from a reputed institute.
- Completion of cybersecurity training or possession of relevant certifications will be considered an added advantage.
