Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize technical skills in data warehousing, business intelligence, and database technologies, including Snowflake, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
- Support software development and data engineering activities using ETL and ELT tools, including dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support business intelligence solutions primarily using Microsoft Power BI.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
- Participate in the software validation process by developing, reviewing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Develop software applications in accordance with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members regarding projects, development activities, tools, and procedures.
- Provide end-user support, including application setup, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Internship experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of developing dimensional data models, with an understanding of the advantages and limitations of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema designs.
- Strong knowledge of ETL development and reporting, with a solid understanding of business processes and key performance measures.
- Knowledge of Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, Fivetran data integration, and dbt transformation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API integration concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server databases is required.
- Knowledge of C# and Azure development is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
