Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate wireless features across access point (AP), controller, and management layers.
- Design, develop, and maintain software using C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and develop test automation for feature validation.
- Analyze system logs, packet traces, and system behavior to identify and troubleshoot software and wireless issues.
- Reproduce reported issues, identify root causes, and validate fixes across different system components.
- Set up, configure, and utilize laboratory environments to test and validate various wireless scenarios.
- Collaborate with platform, radio, quality assurance (QA), and cloud teams to support feature development, integration, testing, and issue resolution.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Wi-Fi technologies, including IEEE 802.11 basics.
- Experience or strong interest in software testing, test automation, and system validation.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to wireless controllers or cloud-managed networking systems.
- Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Familiarity with wireless security protocols, including WPA2 and WPA3.
