Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and ensuring the successful completion of QA activities across multiple development cycles and release phases.
- Participate in Agile user story review meetings and collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to understand new or modified application functionalities.
- Engage with regional teams, Product Owners, and user communities to gather business requirements and ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing coverage for each release.
- Develop and implement end-to-end test scenarios, perform debugging activities, and define corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
- Review system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics, including defect density, defect trends, and open defect counts.
- Perform and document risk analysis activities while tracking and reporting test progress, outcomes, and overall quality status.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure application stability after issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, technical specifications, and design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Design, develop, code, and execute automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Establish QA standards, processes, and procedures to evaluate product quality and determine release readiness.
- Provide recommendations to enhance innovation and streamline overall testing methodologies and processes.
- Research and evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve system functionality, consistency, and user experience.
- Document QA processes, standards, and best practices within an Agile Scrum development environment while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as Leading SAFe, would be considered an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in software QA methodologies, testing tools, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to work as a team player with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and evaluate complex systems.
- Strong understanding of SQL, scripting, and database-related concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development processes.
- Extensive experience working within Agile development frameworks, including Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software integrated development environments (IDEs) and related development tools.
- Ability to handle client and customer issues professionally, tactfully, and efficiently.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in working within Agile/Scrum-based development processes and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and test automation frameworks.
- Experience working within geographically distributed or global teams is desirable.
- Experience in performance testing and/or security testing would be considered an added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/DevOps environments, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.
- Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance activities.
- Demonstrated experience in software testing, test planning, and defect management processes.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
