Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Develop and maintain software components, modules, and applications using suitable programming languages and technologies.
- Integrate software systems with existing infrastructure, databases, APIs, and third-party services to ensure smooth functionality and data flow.
- Implement enhancements, updates, and modifications for systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking tools, utilities, databases, and internet-related applications.
- Execute test plans and protocols for assigned code components, while identifying, logging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Participate in concept and design discussions by gathering system-level requirements, clarifying interfaces, and contributing feedback for future design improvements.
- Support the complete service lifecycle, including solution design, deployment, operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support through system design consulting, software platform and framework development, capacity planning, and launch review activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development initiatives.
- Work as part of a project team to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products and systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with demonstrated technical expertise.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in systems engineering, programming, software development, or related technical domains.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE) certification is preferred.
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification is considered an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of computer hardware and system architecture.
- Experience with operating system and application installation and customization.
- Understanding of APIs and automation concepts.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
- Strong foundation in computer science, software development, and software engineering.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
