Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of coordinating, managing, and executing both proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require advanced support.
- Provide support for impact analysis during the introduction of system or process changes.
- Investigate, debug, and reproduce technical issues, implement fixes or workarounds, and validate changes to ensure the continued stability and operability of the software solution.
- Contribute to achieving and maintaining customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage incident calls and bridge discussions for ongoing issues, ensuring timely updates to all stakeholders regarding progress, analysis, and resolution.
- Participate in shift rotations to effectively support operational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
- Possess scripting skills in technologies such as Shell, Python, or Ansible.
- Have experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Elasticsearch (preferred).
- Be capable of performing standard configuration changes and executing regular application upgrades using SOP/MOP procedures.
- Possess experience with Oracle databases (preferred).
- Have prior exposure to Mobile Commerce, online banking, or IT systems within the financial services sector (preferred).
- Demonstrate knowledge of ITIL processes (preferred).
- Have a background or understanding of service operations, including problem, event, and incident management, as well as service transition processes such as change and knowledge management.
- Exhibit fluency in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong active listening abilities.
- Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Be a collaborative team player, capable of working effectively with and through others.
