Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales of Receivables process by assessing impacts arising from changes in reporting requirements, including the introduction of Maximum Exposure Limits for Charge Cards.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Treasury teams to design and implement solutions on the POA platform (FODL) for reports used in the Sales of Receivables process.
  • Ensure the financial integrity of ledgers related to Card Member Accounts receivables.
  • Manage end-to-end governance and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR) sub-ledger accounts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on enterprise and technology projects impacting accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Develop and deploy analytics solutions to enable business partners to gain actionable financial insights.
  • Perform accounting, research, and issue resolution activities to maintain the accuracy and integrity of AR accounts and related processes.
  • Ensure smooth and timely execution of Month-End and Quarter-End close processes.
  • Drive individual and team objectives with a strong focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for simplification and automation, and actively implement enhancements.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with processes and controls.
  • Manage PRSA-related activities and controls, ensuring a strong control environment and compliance with AXP policies and US GAAP requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Possess a B.Com degree with 1–2 years of experience, or CA Inter / postgraduate qualification with 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with AR system-of-record applications such as Triumph, Globestar, and legacy AR platforms.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to understand process linkages and dependencies.
  • Be an excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Have familiarity with AXP Spend processes, AR platforms, and tools such as Falcon.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to effectively create, develop, and collaborate with a diverse workforce.
  • Show the ability to think innovatively and pursue ideas with confidence and conviction.
