Key Responsibilities:
- Support monitoring and reliability initiatives for HPE Networking SASE products to ensure system stability and performance.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining dashboards and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Monitor application health and respond promptly to alerts to minimize service disruptions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to identifying root causes for effective resolution.
- Participate in incident management processes and adhere to established response protocols.
- Analyze data from monitoring tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential system issues.
- Support the maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to ensure high availability of cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application behavior in production environments and improve reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous operational support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Possess 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related domains, including internship exposure.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
- Have foundational knowledge of logs, metrics, and dashboarding concepts for system monitoring.
- Exhibit familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Maintain working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
- Understand fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
- Show willingness to learn and contribute to incident management processes and operational workflows.
- Possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address technical challenges.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Be flexible to work in night shifts and participate in on-call support environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Have exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
- Possess familiarity with Linux-based systems and environments.
- Show curiosity and interest in learning distributed systems and cloud architectures.
- Demonstrate an inclination toward automation and reliability engineering practices.
