Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enhancements, updates, and modifications for specific components and subsystems of system software, including operating systems, compilers, networking tools, utilities, databases, and internet-related applications.
- Execute predefined test plans and protocols for assigned code segments, and identify, log, and debug issues as required.
- Build an understanding of, and establish effective working relationships with, internal teams and outsourced development partners involved in software design and development.
- Collaborate as part of a project team with software engineers and internal and external development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
- Possess 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrate experience or a foundational understanding of software system design tools and programming languages.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Show an understanding of designing software systems that operate across multiple platform types.
- Possess knowledge of basic testing, coding, and debugging practices.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and the local language.
Additional Skills:
- Have familiarity with cloud architectures and distributed computing concepts.
- Demonstrate cross-domain knowledge and an understanding of design thinking principles.
- Possess a strong foundation in development fundamentals and DevOps practices.
- Show awareness of microservices architecture and full-stack development concepts.
- Exhibit a security-first mindset in software development and solution design.
- Have knowledge of testing, automation, and user experience (UX) principles.
