Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Performance Review: Utilizes hands-on expertise in SAS, SQL, or Python to collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from cross-functional stakeholders, and to examine and report on historical business performance.
- Strategic Recommendations: Applies a strong understanding of the credit business to develop and recommend data-driven actions that support future initiatives, strategic business opportunities, and enhancements to operational policies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicates analytical findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leadership.
- Process and Strategy Improvement: Continuously improves analytical processes and business strategies by identifying, evaluating, and leveraging new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Collaboration on Decision Strategies: Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to build, implement, track, and improve data-driven decision strategies.
- Risk and Control Management: Appropriately assesses risk in business decisions with a strong focus on safeguarding the firm’s reputation, clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, exercising sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience within the banking or financial services domain.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret large datasets and assess their impact on operational and financial outcomes.
- Ability to understand data and underlying business processes, leverage analytical tools to generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to address business challenges.
- Well-organized and structured, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced process management capabilities, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Proven ability in insight generation, connecting business insights across functions, and effective stakeholder management.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of the customer journey and P&L processes for credit products.
- Experience in designing, executing, or monitoring campaigns or initiatives that drive customer engagement for credit products.
