Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop quality engineering (QE) test plans, testing strategies, and test cases for applications and features.
- Collaborate closely with development, BPR, and other cross-functional project teams to execute test plans and deliver high-quality products.
- Perform automation, performance, and code quality testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber-JVM, REST API frameworks, Appium, Postman, SOAP UI, JMeter, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Leverage Generative AI (GenAI) models to support coding, test development, and other quality engineering tasks.
- Conduct functional, system, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Demonstrate strong self-motivation and the ability to quickly understand issues, apply critical judgment, and work effectively in ambiguous situations and under constraints.
- Provide project managers with timely and accurate updates on testing status and progress throughout all testing phases, including summary reports at project completion.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile environment while consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Communicate clearly and effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- One to two years of combined professional experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Exposure to automation, performance, and software quality testing tools, along with CI/CD pipeline integrations.
- Experience in designing test strategies, scenarios, and test cases for web and mobile user interfaces, APIs/web services, and database workflows.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) solutions and AI models for testing or development support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience conducting functional, system, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Strong understanding of quality engineering processes, tools, and metrics.
- Working knowledge of automation framework architecture, design, and development principles.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
