Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including architects, developers, program managers, testers, and documentation teams, to define clear and detailed product- and system-level requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and work effectively within an Agile development environment.
- Analyze and interpret use case stories provided by Product Owners and collaborate with designers to ensure comprehensive understanding of development requirements.
- Estimate development tasks with a high level of accuracy, achieving reliable sprint planning and delivery.
- Complete all assigned tasks within the same sprint, including development, unit testing, and integration testing activities.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation, initiative, and a proactive approach to task completion.
- Deliver high-quality outputs by adhering to established standards, including code reviews, automated unit testing, and integration testing prior to system testing.
- Evaluate test results and support root cause analysis for test failures, assisting design and development teams with debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
- Make timely and well-informed decisions in complex situations by balancing structured analysis with decisiveness.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a graduate degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in the product development of industrial and automation solutions.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate strong expertise in C and C++, including Visual C++, MFC, COM, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Have experience developing Windows-based applications using C# and building multi-threaded applications.
- Possess hands-on experience in debugging and troubleshooting application issues, including memory leaks, crashes, and performance problems.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture concepts.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Have experience or domain knowledge in DCS, PLC, or industrial automation systems, which is considered an added advantage.
- Display strong soft skills, including clear communication and professional collaboration.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside the organization.
- Be familiar with the full software product development lifecycle, including automated unit testing practices.
