Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Analyst by collaborating across business units, functions, and with clients on key projects and products.
- Conduct detailed business analysis and assist in troubleshooting reported issues.
- Participate in requirements gathering and analysis activities.
- Contribute to the design, development, and execution of test strategies and test cases, including the review of test plans and results.
- Adhere to CGI’s Quality System procedures for business units and projects.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong knowledge and skills in Property and Casualty (P&C) or General Insurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to perform insurance data analysis and generate reports.
- Experience in implementing required changes, gathering requirements, and conducting development and/or quality assurance testing to ensure solutions are accurate and of high quality.
Required Skills:
- Solid business analysis skills with experience in gathering and defining requirements.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs).
- Experience working with development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience querying databases.
- Familiarity with policy administration systems, insurance data analytics, or statutory reporting.
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Business analysis.
- Data analysis.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
