Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of back-end components for storage systems.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept (PoC) projects involving distributed storage, object storage, or cloud-native storage architectures.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and debugging sessions to ensure high-quality software.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative ideas to support PoC initiatives.
- Document technical findings clearly and present outcomes to stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning (ML), or data science (DS) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with storage concepts such as file systems, block storage, and object storage.
- Basic experience in back-end development and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
- Knowledge of distributed systems or networking fundamentals.
- Understanding or exposure to SaaS and other “as-a-Service” models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, STaaS).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Passion for innovation and problem-solving.
