Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative, business-impacting products and services to support infrastructure operations.
- Build and implement object-oriented PHP applications, progressing from prototype to full deployment.
- Integrate open-source and commercial enterprise applications into exposed APIs and web-based portals.
- Develop highly scalable and high-performance REST and SOAP web services.
- Maintain a strong focus on end-user needs and business goals throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with product management and stakeholders to ensure applications align with requirements and expectations.
- Uphold the highest standards of technical excellence and discipline to set a benchmark for the broader development team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Proficient in object-oriented design and development.
- Hands-on experience in developing API interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Skilled in writing and debugging C code.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming languages.
- Solid experience in backend development using PHP.
- Exposure to non-relational data stores such as ZooKeeper or Memcache.
- Experience working with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
