Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Design, develop, and implement change requests for SQL Server databases based on evolving business requirements.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and user-defined functions to support application functionality and data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve data-related issues effectively.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries to enhance database performance and efficiency.
- Maintain and regularly update comprehensive database documentation for reference and compliance.
- Use Informatica to perform ETL processes and manage data integration tasks across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database environments and systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in SQL Server development.
- Proficient in using Informatica for data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of SQL programming and database management principles.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL workflows and data integration using Informatica tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python is considered an added advantage.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
