Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components and providing guidance to junior developers.
- Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python and Go, while establishing and maintaining coding standards across the team.
- Manage MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, security, and scalability, and mentor team members on database best practices.
- Architect and develop RESTful APIs, leading their integration with user interfaces and providing technical leadership throughout the process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to contribute technical expertise toward achieving complex project goals.
- Support compliance with security frameworks such as SOC2 and FedRAMP by ensuring backend systems align with stringent security requirements.
- Oversee the deployment and management of backend services on AWS, with a focus on optimizing system performance and security.
- Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enhance software quality and streamline development workflows.
- Lead efforts in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing application components for improved speed, security, and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in web development, programming languages, and technologies, and incorporate relevant advancements into development strategies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong track record of leading software development projects.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go, along with expertise in MySQL database management.
- Proven experience in developing backend RESTful APIs and integrating them with user interfaces.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to lead and drive development teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach to debugging and optimization.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and participate in technical discussions effectively.
