Key Responsibilities:
- Develop workflows and macros in Alteryx to perform data transformations and apply business rules effectively.
- Build high-level and detailed data validations in Alteryx to ensure data quality and enhance user confidence in datasets.
- Utilize MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to capture findings and present insights to customers in a clear and impactful manner.
- Organize and participate in discussions with customers to identify data quality issues and contribute to defining business rules for resolution.
- Write and debug SQL queries to extract datasets from Data Warehouses and other relational databases.
- Collaborate with Essbase developers to align data feed structures with the dimensionality of the application.
- Support the Essbase development team by testing data loads, performing sanity checks, and identifying potential issues.
- Assist customers during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase and work with the development team to resolve data and application issues.
- Act as a Level 2 resource by analyzing data, identifying process inefficiencies, and troubleshooting workflow disruptions.
- Coordinate with internal teams within MasterCard Operations and Technology to ensure compliance with MasterCard’s technical standards, including change management and new development requirements.
- Demonstrate strong metadata management, data transformation, and reporting skills, preferably in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) environment. Prior FP&A experience is desirable to facilitate engagement with stakeholders and enhance data understanding in an FP&A context.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong proficiency in developing and managing Alteryx workflows and macros.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
- Ability to work on both Windows and Linux server environments.
- Strong commitment to developing, testing, and ensuring the quality of data workflows.
- Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot workflows developed by team members.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with a high level of responsiveness to business needs.
- Comfortable working within a Finance organization with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
