Key Responsibilities:
Test Requirements Analysis and Test Case Design
- Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
- Develop test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable conditions.
- Implement Wipro’s model-based testing approach to enhance test generation efficiency.
- Conduct peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring proper version control.
- Define testing criteria, parameters, and scope, and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate the test lifecycle process at appropriate stages using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
Automation Framework Design and Execution
- Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and creating and executing test cases.
- Ensure that test defects raised comply with defined project, program, and account norms, including clear descriptions and replication patterns.
- Identify and report software defects through detailed defect reports and test progress updates.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet Wipro and customer SLA standards without rejection or slippage.
- Design and deliver test status dashboards at the end of each test execution cycle for stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, linking results to quality risks and reporting them to relevant stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Engagement
- Maintain high-quality interactions with customers, including email communication, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
- Ensure timely delivery of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and relevant dashboard updates in the test management repository.
- Accurately update efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project-related tracking systems.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no instances of internal or external complaints.
