Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and scalability testing of Google Cloud-based platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for existing and upcoming cloud platform products.
- Automate test cases for execution in a CI/CD environment, ensuring seamless integration from build to canary-based deployment.
- Triage and debug issues, collaborating with the Platform Deployment team to implement best practices.
- Work closely with Engineering Development, Product Management, and Engineering Productivity teams to ensure necessary libraries and frameworks are available for automating test cases scheduled for daily and weekly builds.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development and testing.
- Proficiency in test methodologies, test plan creation, test case development, automation, and debugging.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, or Go.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with network equipment, network protocol testing, and debugging.
- Knowledge of test automation, network test automation, test coverage, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Python, networking equipment, and Ethernet switching.
