Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and Discover Insights: Explore structured and unstructured datasets through exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data validation to identify patterns and trends that support business decision-making.
- Build and Optimize Machine Learning Solutions: Develop, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning and statistical models to address complex business challenges.
- Communicate Analytical Findings Effectively: Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Data Engineers to design reliable data pipelines and deploy AI/ML solutions into production environments.
- Drive Process Improvement and Automation Initiatives: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency across business functions.
- Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Record methodologies, experiments, analyses, and technical solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
- Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Continuously learn and apply advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and analytics to improve business outcomes.
- Ensure Compliance with Organizational Policies and Requirements: Adhere to the terms of the employment contract, company policies, procedures, and management directives, including work location changes, team reassignments, shift modifications, flexible work arrangements, and other business-related decisions as determined by the company.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Possess 1+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or related domains.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Have a strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Be familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
- Possess a solid foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Possess a basic understanding of cloud platforms, MLOps practices, and model deployment concepts.
Required Skills:
- Core Data Science: Strong foundation in statistics, probability, machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL) algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
- Python & SQL: Proficiency in Python and SQL with the ability to develop data-driven solutions and efficiently analyze large datasets.
- ML Toolkit: Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), including GPT, LLaMA, prompt engineering, and prompt optimization techniques.
- RAG & Embeddings: Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, and Weaviate, and embedding strategies.
- LLM Frameworks: Exposure to orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies for building AI-powered applications.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Documentation & Storytelling: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and present data-driven insights that support informed business decisions.
- AI Agents & Autonomous Systems: Experience in building AI agents, chatbots, or agentic workflows that operate with minimal human intervention.
- Multimodal AI: Exposure to multimodal models that work across text, image, audio, and video data, including vision-language and speech-to-text applications.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, and PEFT, along with experience working with LLM APIs at scale.
- MLOps / LLMOps: Familiarity with model deployment pipelines, CI/CD practices for machine learning, experiment tracking tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases, and API serving.
- Cloud & Containers: Working knowledge of AWS services, including SageMaker, S3, and Lambda, along with Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Real-World Problem Solving: Experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to business use cases such as forecasting, optimization, automation, and recommendation systems.
- Responsible AI: Understanding of AI safety principles, bias mitigation techniques, hallucination risk management, and model governance practices.
- Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced delivery cycles.
