Key Responsibilities:
Test Requirements and Design
- Understand test requirements and contribute to the design of test cases for the product.
- Author detailed test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable conditions.
- Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach to efficiently generate test cases.
- Ensure peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, maintaining proper version control.
- Define criteria, parameters, and scope for testing, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate test life cycle processes using tools like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
Automation Framework and Reporting
- Design and execute automation frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop and automate software validation tests by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases/scenarios.
- Raise defects as per project/program norms with detailed descriptions and replication patterns.
- Detect and document bugs, prepare defect reports, and report test progress.
- Deliver work items within Wipro/Customer SLA norms, avoiding rejections or delays.
- Create and release test status dashboards at the end of each test execution cycle for stakeholders.
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback, trace results to quality risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Focus
- Maintain high-quality communication with customers via emails, fault reports, voice calls, and professional business etiquette.
- Deliver Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates on time using test management repositories.
- Log accurate effort updates in tools like eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no complaints arise internally or externally.
